Robert Half is partnering with a client to hire a Junior Accountant who is ready to build a solid foundation in corporate accounting and finance. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records
Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews
Maintain organized accounting files and records
Assist with expense tracking, accruals, and account analysis
Support the accounting team with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed
Previous experience as a Junior Accountant
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
