Job Summary:

MaplePath Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing team as independent contractors. This is an on-call position providing in-home support services to clients throughout the Halton Region.

Position Type

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and transfers
- Support clients with activities of daily living
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document client care and report any changes in condition
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Requirements

- PSW Certificate from a recognized institution
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- Updated Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proof of immunization records (if applicable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and professionally in clients’ homes
- Knowledge of PHIPA and client confidentiality standards

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in home care, retirement homes, or long-term care settings
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and short-notice shifts
- Multilingual candidates are welcome
