Job Summary

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service.
- Take food and drink orders from guests, providing menu recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, food safety standards, and beverage options.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering duties such as processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible serving practices while ensuring a safe environment for all patrons.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery times and resolve any order discrepancies promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Experience

- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving in a quick-paced environment is a plus.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling technology is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, including calculating bills and giving accurate change.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality background that emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
