Rocky Mountain Icehouse is a well established venue in the Downtown core. Our food has a southern flair and our space is versile. We are anything from a sport venue when there are major sports to a dance venue with our La Fiesta nights to our 80s vs 90s dance parties. We also have our large, dog friendly patio. Our staff are all well rounded amazing people and would like to add a couple more to the family.
Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a couple of friendly and energetic Senior Bartenders / Servers to join our team. In this role, you'll be the heart of the bar and dining experience, mixing drinks, serving food, and ensuring our guests feel right at home. If you love hospitality, have a knack for multitasking, and enjoy making people smile, this could be your perfect fit!
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with skill and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
- Take food orders accurately using POS system and serve meals promptly to guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas while adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Pixel Point.
- Solid time management skills to juggle multiple tables and drink orders seamlessly.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements related to alcohol service.
