Responsibilities

- Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Prepare work sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for plumbing tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut pipes, assemble fixtures, and perform basic plumbing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installations
- Support the assembly of plumbing components and fixtures according to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency




- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents promptly

Skills

- Basic mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and construction tools
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and welding is a plus
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and basic math calculations
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics for proper installation procedures
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach to learning new skills on the job
- Knowledge of maintenance practices for plumbing fixtures and systems
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces
