About the Role:
CEFA Early Learning is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team for a summer contract position Starting May 1st and ending August 27 This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain open and skilled communication with team members and families
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health & safety standards
- Assist with classroom organization and daily routines
Locations & Hours:
- CEFA Cloverdale (201- 17392 57 Ave Surrey) and CEFA Sullivan Ridge (5790 King George Blvd Surrey)
All centers are open from 7:30am - 5:30 pm, your work schedule will fluctuate during these times with notice.
Wage:
$23- $25/hour based on education and experience. Plus, an additional $6/hour will be paid to qualified Teachers as per the BC Wage Enhancement Regulations.

Requirements:
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification (BC License to Practice)
- Current First Aid certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Must be able to commute between CEFA Cloverdale and CEFA Sullivan Ridge locations with reasonable notice
- Previous experience in a childcare or early learning setting is preferred
Conditions of Employment:

- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Proof of Covid Vaccination (both doses)
- Over 19 years of age

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
