We are committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our Finance team.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the General Accountant will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Epicor-CMS ERP transactions, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The successful candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Daily/Weekly Activities:

- Update cashbook and post banking transactions in Epicor-CMS ERP
- Run weekly Aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Post journal entries into Epicor-CMS ERP
- Review AP cheque-runs and wire payments for accuracy
- Prepare timely and accurate bank and GL account reconciliations
- Post AR invoices and customer payments in Epicor-CMS ERP
- Assist the Controller with account analysis and ad-hoc queries.
- Month-End Activities
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries in a timely manner
- Reconcile intercompany accounts accurately




- Prepare accruals and prepayment schedules and post related entries
- Assist the Controller with financial statement preparation and analysis

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Epicor-CMS ERP
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with robust organizational and problem-solving skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Education:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

- Accounting: 4 years (required)
- ERP systems: 4 years (required)
- Microsoft Excel: 4 years (preferred)
- AP cheque-runs : 3 years (preferred)
- Epicor-CMS ERP: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred)
