Position: Kitchen Helper

Location: Red Chillies Flavours of India, 936 Bedford Highway, Halifax, NS B4A 3P1 (Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Versatile shifts, including evenings and weekends)
Job Responsibilities:

- Assist chefs with food prep (chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, cut and marinating meats).
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen (washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, sweeping/mopping).
- Support inventory tasks (unpacking supplies, stocking fridge/freezer).
- Help with basic cooking tasks as needed (e.g., boiling rice, grilling naan).
- Follow food safety standards and team instructions during busy service.

Requirements:

- No prior experience required – training provided! (Bonus if you've worked in a restaurant or with Indian/South Asian cooking.)




- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg.
- Reliable, team player with a positive attitude.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
