Title: Sr. Manager, Strategic Execution
Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Strategic Execution supports the delivery of medical, clinical, and commercial programs by managing key aspects of project planning and execution. The role owns the end-to-end delivery of defined-scope programs and leads defined components of more complex, multi-stream programs, working closely with CPs and or Principals/Directors. Senior Managers play a critical role in translating strategy into high-quality execution while escalating risks and decisions as appropriate.
Essential Job Functions
Program & Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end delivery of defined-scope programs from planning through execution
- Lead defined workstreams or components of more complex, multi-stream programs
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for assigned programs or components
- Monitor milestones and delivery progress, identifying and escalating risks as needed
- Support translation of client and internal objectives into executable delivery plans
Client & Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned programs or components
- Support senior colleagues in client planning discussions and meetings
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, HCPs, vendors, and partners
- Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, expectations, and quality standards
Internal Collaboration & Team Support
- Coordinate closely with Client Partners, Scientific Partners, Program Management, Event Management, CC&P; and other internal teams
- Provide clear briefs and requirements to internal contributors
- Support alignment across teams during planning, rehearsals, and execution
- Contribute to a collaborative and accountable delivery culture
Financial,
Risk & Quality Management
- Track budgets and timelines for assigned programs or components
- Support project reconciliation and close-out activities in partnership with Program Management & Accounting
- Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and quality
- Identify issues early and propose solutions to senior colleagues
Contribution to Strategic Execution Function
- Apply Strategic Execution processes, templates, and SOPs consistently
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices
Share learnings across the team to support scalable and repeatable delivery
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Arts or Science, coupled with a minimum of 4 years of project management experience in the execution of medical events, medical education programs, and training materials within an agency environment
Experience:
- Experience delivering medical, clinical, or commercial programs within an agency or similar environment
- Experience owning defined-scope programs and supporting complex initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, and competing priorities
- Developing client-facing and internal leadership experience

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional virtual and dependent on location, occasional in-person office environment. Travel may be required to support onsite execution of programs. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

This is largely a sedentary role - prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
