About the Opportunity

Cityscapes Municipal Contractors is developing a network of dependable cleaning contractors and subcontractors to support residential, commercial and property-maintenance contracts throughout Toronto and the GTA.

We are looking to build long-term partnerships with established cleaning companies, independent cleaning professionals and small crews seeking additional contract opportunities and support scaling their operations.

This is an independent-contractor opportunity and not a guaranteed-hours employment position. Work will be offered as contracts become available, based on location, qualifications, availability and client requirements.

Types of Work May Include

- Residential and commercial cleaning
- Office and common-area cleaning
- Condominium and apartment turnover cleaning
- Move-in and move-out cleaning
- Post-construction cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- Post-move cleaning
- Property-maintenance and specialty cleaning assignments

- Contract and project coordination
- Clear scopes of work and service requirements
- Client communication and account management
- Scheduling and assignment coordination
- Documentation and quality-control procedures
- Opportunities to participate in larger service contracts
- Support managing the administrative side of assigned projects

Contractor Responsibilities

- Complete assigned work according to the approved scope and schedule
- Supply qualified labour, supervision and cleaning equipment as required
- Maintain professional communication and appearance
- Follow applicable health, safety and client-site requirements
- Report project progress, deficiencies and completion




- Submit accurate invoices and supporting documentation
- Correct verified service deficiencies within an agreed timeframe

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience
- Ability to work independently or supervise a small crew
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project locations
- Access to appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Registered business or willingness to operate as an independent contractor
- Commercial general liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it
- WSIB coverage or independent-operator clearance where applicable
- Robust attention to detail, reliability and customer-service skills
- Ability to provide references and photographs of previous work
