Job Summary

Grace Mobile Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate, trustworthy, and dedicated In-Home Support Worker (Caregivers, Cleaners, etc.) to provide high-quality care to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home environments and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, medication management, meal preparation, and companionship, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Candidates should be committed to delivering respectful, personalized care tailored to each individual's needs.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans
- Prepare basic nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a clean living space
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Support clients with dementia or disabilities by implementing specialized care techniques




- Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times

Experience

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care settings is preferred, but not needed
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is advantageous
- Familiarity with dementia care and working with people with special needs is a plus
- Previous caregiving experience involving meal preparation, cleaning, and personal assistance is beneficial
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Competency in listening and speaking in English
