Key responsibilities:

- Preparing instructional materials relevant to the course being taught.
- Instructing/teaching.
- Marking/grading of exams and assignments online etc.
- Providing constructive feedback to students.
- Monitoring and participating in discussion forums online.
- Frequently interacting with students online.

Qualifications:

- Master's, Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in the English language required.
- Background/specialization in subject area required.
- Demonstrated competence in post-secondary teaching required. Instructional experience in E-learning or online teaching preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and skills using computers, mobile devices, virtual classroom software.
- Empathetic approach to the instructional needs and concerns of students learning at a distance is required.
- Previous teaching in the subject area or related area would be an asset.

Tuesday Evenings; Time: 5:00pm-8:00pm; Location: Travel is required for this position. This course will be delivered to the Manitoba Indigenous Teacher Education Program (MITEP) cohort. The successful candidate will travel to communities within the five areas of the Frontier School Division to instruct and deliver lessons in person.
