Job Title: Full-Time Experienced Assistant Server

Job Summary:
Capocaccia Trattoria is seeking an experienced, passionate, and service-driven Full-Time Assistant Server to join our dynamic front-of-house team. As a key part of our guest experience, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced environment while promoting Italian cuisine and fine wine. This role reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Serve meals and alcoholic beverages in accordance with provincial regulations
- Maintain table cleanliness, including busing and resetting tables
- Handle daily cash and payment transactions accurately
- Answer phone inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and specials
- Uphold a clean, organized, and professional workspace
- Provide recommendations and upsell when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure all guests leave with a memorable and positive experience

Qualifications:

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills




- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
- High level of product knowledge, especially in food and wine
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines is considered a strong asset
- Qualified appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve certification (required)
