Brandt Truck & Trailer is seeking an individual to fill the position of Heavy Duty Journeyman Technician in our Grande Prairie location. This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Help the Journeyman team with CVIP inspections
- Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
- Ability to repair and adjust mechanical components
- Complete written and oral work orders
- Repair and adjust truck drive lines, engines and any other necessary mechanical components
- Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
- Other mechanical repair work and duties as required

Required Skills
- Completion of College/vocational technical training
- 1+ years as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice, specifically with drive lines/air systems including schematics and diagnostics
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communication both verbally and written
- Robust attention to detail
