Preweigh Machine Operator - Scarborough, ON

The Career Foundation is currently seeking a Full-time Preweigh Machine Operator on behalf of one of our employer partners.

Location: Scarborough, ON (Sheppard & Brimley)

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours: 40 hours/week

Shifts & Pay Rates:

1. Morning Shift: 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $17.60/hr + vacation pay = $17.68/hr

2. Afternoon Shift: 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $17.85/hr + vacation pay = $18.56/hr

3. Night Shift: 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning

Pay Rate: $18.70/hr + vacation pay = $19.44/hr

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies.

· Machine operation and maintenance.

· Cutting supplied raw materials and sorting cut raw materials to appropriate batch cages.

· Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns.

· Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S; guidelines and procedures.

· Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs.

· Participate in the establishment of annual EH&S; objectives.

· Maintain a clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop.

Required Qualifications:

· Secondary School or equivalent.

· Minimum of one year experience in machine operation.

· Able to do heavy lifting.





· Good mechanical knowledge is an asset.

· Knowledge of small tools and light assembly.

· Clean criminal background.
