We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary commercial facilities at multiple client locations. This position requires excellent time management, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services.
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time position offering approximately 15-20 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours based on client needs and business demands.
Wage will be based on experience and qualifications.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel between multiple locations throughout the workday and work week.
Applicants must:
- Have a valid Ontario G2 or G driver's licence.
- Have access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Maintain valid automobile insurance.
- Be able to travel independently to all assigned job sites and arrive on time.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize offices, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop,
and dust all assigned areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling receptacles.
- Restock washroom and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Clean windows, glass, and other surfaces as assigned.
- Follow company cleaning procedures and health and safety standards.
- Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management.
- Secure client premises by locking doors and setting alarms where required.
- Maintain a skilled appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 30 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to pass a background check, if required.
