Barista – Pilattes CaféOverview

At Pilattes, our café is an extension of our wellness experience. We’re looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Baristas who are passionate about specialty coffee, matcha, and creating meaningful connections with every guest. As a Barista, you'll help deliver a premium café experience while contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Pilattes unique.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages, matcha, teas, and specialty drinks according to Pilattes standards.

- Greet every guest with a warm, welcoming attitude and provide exceptional customer service.

- Accurately take customer orders, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale system.

- Ensure every beverage is prepared consistently with attention to quality, presentation, and detail.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café and service area throughout each shift.

- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations when preparing beverages and light food items.

- Restock inventory, monitor supplies, and communicate inventory needs to management.

- Work collaboratively with the studio team to create a seamless boutique wellness and café experience.

- Assist in opening and closing duties, including equipment cleaning and daily café preparation.

- Represent the Pilattes brand with professionalism, positivity, and genuine hospitality.

Requirements

- Previous barista or café experience is preferred,



but we welcome motivated candidates who are eager to learn.

- Passion for specialty coffee, matcha, wellness, and creating memorable customer experiences.

- Friendly, outgoing, and confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Strong work ethic with a professional, reliable, and punctual attitude.

- Comfortable operating a point-of-sale system and handling cash and card transactions accurately.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small, supportive team.

- Committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting café environment.

- Adaptable availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset or willingness to obtain one before employment.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
