Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Strathroy, Ontario

DailySupport Group Inc. is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and qualified Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide in-home care for one client in Strathroy, Ontario.

This position involves providing care and support in the client’s private residence. Responsibilities may include personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other support related to the client’s care needs.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care, including laundry, dishes, tidying, and maintaining a clean living environment
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or concerns
- Follow the client’s care plan while maintaining professional boundaries
- Complete required documentation, when applicable
- Provide medication reminders, where appropriate and within scope of practice

Qualifications

- PSW Certificate, Nursing Diploma, Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or equivalent healthcare education
- Experience providing care in private homes, long-term care, retirement homes, hospitals, or community settings preferred
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or Police Record Check
- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
- Reliable, compassionate, professional, and respectful
- Comfortable providing both personal care and light housekeeping
- Experience supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, MVA clients, catastrophic injury clients,



or attendant care clients is an asset

Transportation Requirements

A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required to travel to the client’s home in Strathroy, Ontario.

Language Requirements

- English is required.
- Additional languages are an asset.

Experience

- PSW, Nursing, Home Care, Housekeeping, or MVA/Attendant Care: 1 year preferred

Licence / Certification

- PSW Certificate, Nursing Diploma, Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or equivalent preferred

Driving Requirement

- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Pay: $17.90-$20.00 per hour
