About Us: Psyched About Kids Inc. is an innovative and growing child- and family-focused psychology practice providing both mobile and virtual counselling services across Calgary and surrounding areas since 2016. We integrate early brain-science, play-based interventions, and family-systems work to support emotional development, behaviour, and connection. We’re expanding our team and are seeking a passionate psychologist to join us as a contractor.

Position Overview: This role is ideal for a motivated and compassionate clinician who enjoys autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful work in mobile or virtual settings. You’ll provide mobile counselling in family homes along with virtual sessions when appropriate.

Responsibilities:

- Provide therapeutic services to children, teens, and families
- Conduct general assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and community supports as needed
- Participate in team collaboration and career development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

- Registered with corresponding governing body
- Active professional liability insurance
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families




- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (comfortable with driving for mobile service delivery)Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current Child Intervention Record Check
- Ability to provide counselling services in-person and virtually

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications:

- Experience providing school-based or community-based services
- Availability and openness to travel to different neighbourhoods across Calgary (SW, SE, NE, NW)
