Content Creator & Social Media Strategist

Job Overview
We just opened our doors at Sage Hill Passage NW recently, and we are looking for a creative, highly ambitious individual to build our local TikTok and Reels presence from scratch.

We don't require a university degree or years of corporate experience. Instead, we are looking for pure passion, a deep understanding of short-form video trends, and a desire to learn how to scale a local audience.

Duties

- Concept & Script: Brainstorm engaging skits, satisfying food ASMR, and quick-turnaround trend videos tailored to our menu.
- Film & Edit: Show up to our Sage Hill location for regular batch-filming sessions and edit the footage into polished, high-retention vertical videos.
- Analyze & Grow: Monitor algorithm performance, study audience retention, and learn what drives real-world foot traffic.

Requirements

- Local to Calgary: Must be able to easily commute to our Sage Hill location in NW Calgary for filming sessions.
- Fluent in Platform Trends: A deep understanding of what makes a video go viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels (hook writing, pacing, trending sounds, and SEO keywords).
- Equipment:



Must own a modern smartphone (iPhone 13 Pro/14 or equivalent Android) with a high-quality camera.
- Food Safe & Clean: Since you will be filming close up in our active kitchen, you must be professional, and adhere to our kitchen safety guidelines while capturing footage.

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience or background in Digital Marketing, Communications, or Film/Media
- Experience capturing Food ASMR
- A Strong Personal Portfolio: A portfolio of short-form videos (personal TikTok/Reels accounts, client work, or school projects) that demonstrate clean camera work and modern editing skills.

The Compensation:

1. Hourly base pay for all filming and editing hours.

2. A structured view-based incentive program—meaning you earn direct cash bonuses as your videos achieve major organic view milestones.
