Experienced / Senior Line Cook

Gardel is seeking an experienced Senior Line Cook to join our culinary team.

Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Start Date: Must be available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute a dinner service featuring:

2–3 main courses

4–5 starters/shareable plates

Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning

Prepare ingredients and ensure stations are fully stocked for service

Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while supporting the rest of the team

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of line cook experience (senior-level experience preferred)

Experience portioning beef is required

Strong knowledge of food preparation, knife skills,



and kitchen organization

Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure

Reliable, qualified, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Experience shucking oysters is considered a strong asset

Food Handler Certification is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

$24.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience
