Renova Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate Cantonese-speaking Health Care Aide to join our team in Edmonton. This role supports the client who communicates primarily in Cantonese, making fluency in the language essential for providing safe, effective, and person-centered care. If you're passionate about helping seniors and maintain their independence at home, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Support clients living with dementia or disabilities
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans while promoting client dignity and independence

Qualifications

- Fluent in Cantonese (Required)
- Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate or related healthcare education preferred
- Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search




- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable personal vehicle (Required)
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in clients' homes

Work Schedule

This is a casual position. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on client needs.
