IT Administrator

Minimum Qualifications

- Preferably a degree in computer science or related field OR working towards one
- Former experience in network management.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with (willing to train):

- Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network switches and LAN related issues. Ubiquity Unifi experience will be an asset.
- Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, Chromebooks as well as setup, configuration and imaging of current devices.
- Defining, configuring and troubleshooting network printers.
- Network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and DHCP, NAT.
- Creating users and groups in active directory and managing groups.
- Management of Google workspace for Education and Google integration with Active directory and synchronization.
- Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems.
- Multimedia projector maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide technical assistance to school staff as required.
- Identify problems and areas of improvement and suggest solutions to management.
- negotiate and work with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
- Recommend and execute IT related projects as per the school need
