Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Handyman & Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and functionality in our short-term rental properties. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to perform both cleaning and basic property maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards
- Conduct cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and restroom sanitation
- Restock and organize supplies for each property
- Provide porter services by managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in common areas
- Carry out minor handyman and property maintenance tasks, including:
- Installing/replacing locks, handles, or fixtures
- Performing basic repairs (e.g., blinds, furniture, appliances)
- Checking HVAC systems, changing filters, and reporting issues
- Troubleshooting simple plumbing problems (e.g., clogged drains, running toilets) and escalating when professional service is required
- Hot tub maintenance and chemical balancing (training provided)
- Conduct property inspections to identify and report damages, repairs,



or safety concerns promptly
- Uphold custodial standards by following established procedures for cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Communicate effectively with management, including shift check-ins and video walk-throughs at the end of each job

Skills

- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotels, and/or Airbnbs is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning practices, products, and equipment
- Basic handyman/maintenance knowledge (tools, repairs, plumbing, HVAC, hot tubs) — willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Excellent punctuality and time management
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide timely updates and clear reporting
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating reliability and professionalism
