Job Summary

Since 1989, Canadian Landscape and Civil Services Ltd has become a leader in the construction of parks, playgrounds, sports fields, parking lots & boardwalks; throughout the Lower Mainland. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented experienced Civil and Landscape Estimator to join our team; based in our office in central Langley. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil infrastructure and landscape projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Your expertise will help drive successful project bids, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall growth of our construction operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your estimating skills in a fast-paced setting dedicated to excellence in construction and landscaping projects building amazing projects.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive estimates for civil and landscape projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and site conditions.
- Utilize estimating software (HeavyBid and Planswift) to help prepare detailed proposals and estimates.




- Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms.
- Review project drawings and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage bid submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in scope development, value engineering, and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, correspondence, and pricing data for future reference & project management..

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
