Overview

We are seeking professional, team-orientated and energetic Server Assistants with fine dining experience to join our exciting open-kitchen restaurant. This role is essential in supporting the front-of-house operations, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellent triage skills given the position requires the ability to pivot seamlessly from table maintenance to ongoing cleaning tasks continuously in a single shift. Speed, efficiency and polish are essential fro our NY Italian food that has the service style to match the face-pace of the city without compromising guest care. This position offers a supportive, vibrant environment and boasts a "succeed together" mentality to service. We are looking for applicants who are positive, motivated and reliable. Restaurant experience required -- willingness to learn, collaborate and give it your all are necessary.

Duties

- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, clearing and cleaning tables, resetting for next courses and water service




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and ongoing maintenance of service station stocking and cleanliness.
- Manage guest requests efficiently, providing friendly guest services to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Ensure timely setup and breakdown of dining areas for service shifts, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- SmartServe certification.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
