Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces in our store and restaurant.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, showers, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed to uphold facility standards.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas that require attention or maintenance.
- Ensure the outside property is maintained including Displays, Pumps, Snow removal and yard work.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall upkeep of the building.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Shipping and receiving. Maintenance of stock areas. Some stocking.
- Shovelling Snow in the Winter, and Cutting Grass in the Spring and Summer.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
