Job description:

We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker for a female employer who requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living.

Location:

- Salt Spring Island (near Peter Arnell Park)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Sunday: 10:00am to 2:00pm

Compensation:

- $26 per hour for probationary period

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Dinner Meal Preparation and Feeding Assistance
- Kitchen and Washroom Clean up
- Toileting and Peri-Care
- Cough Assist (LVRM)
- Medication Administration
- Transfers using Ceiling lift
- Repositioning
- Bi-pap
- Personal Hygiene

Required Qualifications:

- Caregiver experience required
- Experience with Ceiling Lift Transfers preferred
- Previous Experience with ALS is an asset
- Driver's License and Reliable Transportation required
