Job Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Drivers to join our Dock team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to pick orders, load/unload shipments, and support overall shipping operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and move materials
- Pick orders and build outgoing loads based on company and customer requirements
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for inventory rotation
- Complete transfer sheets and validate incoming shipments
- Segregate products according to company, customer, and regulatory guidelines
- Assist with physical inventory counts
- Operate and troubleshoot pallet wrapping equipment or manually wrap skids
- Perform routine tasks independently and report issues to the Shipping Manager
- Maintain a clean and secure working environment
Requirements (Must Have)
- Valid forklift license (required)
- Minimum 1+ year of forklift driving experience
- Experience operating a four-stage forklift in tight spaces
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 27 kg (60 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
