Duties

- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead internal audits and assist in external audit processes to verify financial data integrity.
- Manage risk assessment procedures related to financial transactions and reporting activities.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
- Utilize accounting software to record, reconcile, and analyze financial data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in accounting procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounting within the financial services or related industries.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Extensive knowledge of auditing processes, internal controls, and risk management strategies.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing internal audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and confidently.
