Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our team. This vital role supports the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a hygienic workplace. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a strong work ethic, contributing to an efficient and welcoming dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including cleaning vegetables or organizing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support kitchen staff with food handling and service tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed




- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use
- Help keep the kitchen organized and stocked with necessary supplies for daily operations

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Pay: $17.85-$17.86 per hour
