Seau de Crabe Barrhaven is preparing to open a new location, and we are looking for reliable and hardworking kitchen staff to join our team.
Kitchen staff will be responsible for preparing food, maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and consistently according to company recipes and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning and plating.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations and food-preparation areas.
- Follow all food-safety, hygiene and health regulations.
- Receive, store and rotate food supplies properly.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or concerns.
- Work efficiently with other team members to ensure timely food preparation.
- Assist with opening, closing and cleaning duties.
- Safely operate kitchen equipment and report maintenance problems.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food-preparation experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
