Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff Member. We are looking for someone with experience preparing Arab and Egyptian food who is reliable, flexible, and passionate about delivering high-quality meals.

In this role, you will assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, packaging, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting and is available to work weekends and on-call shifts during the week.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards
- Assist with preparing traditional Arab and Egyptian dishes
- Plate and garnish meals carefully and consistently
- Assemble, portion, and package takeout and delivery orders
- Maintain clean kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas
- Follow proper food storage, handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Support front-of-house staff by preparing orders accurately and on time
- Complete multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods




- Follow all restaurant health and safety requirements

Requirements

- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is required
- Experience preparing Arab, Egyptian, or Middle Eastern cuisine is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must have flexible availability and be willing to work on-call during the week
- Having a driver’s licence and reliable transportation to the restaurant is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
