We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME-S) with aircraft structural repair experience to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) team in Calgary, AB.

The Aircraft Maintenance

Engineer (AME-S) - Structures is responsible for inspecting, repairing, modifying, and fabricating aircraft structural components to support the continued airworthiness of De Havilland aircraft. Working within a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) environment, the AME-S performs structural maintenance activities in accordance with approved technical data, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), manufacturer instructions, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and company procedures. This role supports aircraft repairs, modifications, damage assessments, and return-to-service activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Duties &

Responsibilities Perform aircraft structural maintenance activities including inspection, repair, modification, removal, installation, assembly, and fabrication of structural components. Assess aircraft structural damage and determine repair requirements using SRMs, engineering drawings, approved data, and manufacturer specifications. Perform sheet metal fabrication, drilling, riveting, fastening, forming, and structural repairs.

Repair and modify aircraft structures including skins, frames, stringers, ribs, bulkheads, panels, and other structural components. Complete maintenance tasks using aircraft drawings, task cards, work instructions, and approved technical documentation. Perform inspections and verification activities within the scope of AMO authorization and applicable Transport Canada privileges.

Maintain accurate part identification, configuration control, and traceability for repaired and installed components. Complete aircraft maintenance documentation, task cards,



and technical records accurately. Certify maintenance tasks performed within the scope of AME-S privileges and applicable AMO authorization.

Support aircraft modifications, damage rectification, and approved engineering changes. Maintain a protected and organized work environment. Report defects, hazards, non-conformances, and safety concerns through the SMS reporting process.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to structural repair processes, tooling, and efficiency. Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance personnel as required.

Education &

Experience Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) "S" license or actively working toward obtaining an AME-S license with relevant structural experience. 1-5+ years of aircraft structural maintenance experience.

Experience working on Dash 8, Q400, Twin Otter, CL-215, or CL-415 aircraft is considered an asset.

Experience using Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), drawings, and approved repair data. Previous AMO experience is considered an asset. Experience, Skills &

Competencies Strong understanding of aircraft structural repair practices and standard practices.

Experience with sheet metal fabrication, riveting, drilling, fastening, and aircraft structural assembly. Ability to interpret technical drawings, SRMs, and engineering documentation.

Experience assessing aircraft damage and determining repair requirements. Composite repair experience is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements Ability to work Monday-Friday, 0600-1430. Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
