We have partners all over the Comox Valley planning events through the Fall, Winter, and Spring Months. We are looking for an outgoing, reliable, organized member to represent the stations and our partners.

Vancouver Island Location

Courtenay – 98.9 Jet FM Summary Responsible for the promotion of the radio station & sponsors in our community

Compiling a calendar of pertinent events weekly for our listeners and public appearances at as many of those events as possible. Photograph events and attendees to post for our social media platforms, including video content at events. Reports on air promoting the events to our listeners Liaise with the Sales,



Promotions and Programming staff to ensure maximum exposure at events deemed to be of special note Compiling a log of events that can be used to write a year-end report to be submitted to the cruiser sponsors.

Management of promotional items inventory for distribution and working with the Sales and Promotions representative to ensure the Events Calendar is always optimal.

Requirements Ability to work with minimal supervision Must enjoy a fast-paced work setting that is based on team & individual effort A valid driver’s license
