SUMMARY The 310T Truck Mechanic is responsible for truck and equipment repairs or service as required by the Leadhand, Foreman, or Shop Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Document all work completed, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.
Fill out inspection sheets as required, adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.
Track and log parts usage daily, ensuring proper inventory control and reporting any discrepancies.
When instructed, perform road tests to verify the functionality and safety of repaired vehicles.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment.
Assist senior mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical issues, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials.
All other duties as required. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 310T Truck and Coach License. Proof of license will be required. Valid driver license. Candidates must be willing to work safely and make safety a priority above all else adhere to safety policies and regulations and engage in best practice of safety initiatives. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and other software such as TMT. Aptitude for truck maintenance and repair.

WORKING CONDITIONS Hourly based on 40 hours of work.
