40-hour workweek

Day Shift (Monday to Friday):

- Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 14:30 p.m

Evening Shift (Monday to Thursday):

- Monday to Thursday, from 14:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Hourly wage ranging from $27.52/hour to $38.75/hour and Evening shift premium: $1.75/hour

Contributing in this role means:

- Meeting project requirements and applicable standards;
- Optimizing manpower/resources and reducing paint losses;
- Respecting coating application procedures and using the right forms;
- Ensure that identification of all products supplied by customers is maintained/protected throughout operations;
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with “valuable practice” codes regarding the safe application of coatings, and in compliance with Company procedures;
- Keep work area clean and safe;
- Observe the Company's occupational health and safety rules;
- Paint, mask and/or touch up steel parts according to shop drawings;
- Mix coatings and/or paint for steel parts;
- Select and adjust pressure of spraying equipment;
- Use lifting equipment such as hoists or overhead cranes;
- Any other related task.

What we are looking for

- Attestation of Vocational Studies (A.V.S.) in industrial painting AND/OR




- Painter - apprentice grade: 2,000 hours worked as a painter - helper grade, or Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.V.S.) in industrial painting;
- Painter - helper grade: Secondary school diploma (D.E.S.) with or without A.E.P. in industrial painting and relevant experience.
- French language spoken;
- Knowledge of best practices for loading materials in compliance with occupational health and safety principles;
- Pneumatic controls and airless paint pumps;
- Knowledge of coating equipment;
- Teamwork, adaptability and initiative;
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail;
- Asset: knowledge of SSPC standards.
