Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

As an Insurance Account Representative, you will play a key role in growing the agency's business by developing client relationships, identifying insurance needs, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the agent to provide personalized insurance solutions while contributing to the agency's sales and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and referral development.
- Schedule appointments and conduct needs-based conversations with prospective and existing clients.
- Recommend and market insurance products and services that align with customer needs.
- Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly customer service.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding insurance coverage, eligibility, policy changes, billing concerns, claims submissions, and policy transfers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support retention and long-term satisfaction.
- Follow up on sales opportunities and maintain an organized pipeline of prospects.
- Collaborate with the agent to develop and achieve sales and marketing goals.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and policy information.

Requirements:





- Previous sales experience in insurance, retail sales, inside sales, outside sales, customer service, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable presenting products and services to prospective clients.
- Property & Casualty (P&C;) License preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Life Insurance License preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Proficiency with computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is considered an asset.
