Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Property Manager to manage a full-time portfolio of residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of rental property management practices, including maintenance, and managing tenant relations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Property Manager will ensure compliance with Residential Tenancy Branch regulations and maintain positive relationships with tenants while maximizing property value.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including renting, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant law and regulations.
- Utilize property management software for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs.
- Handle tenant inquiries.
- Prepare and manage rental agreements, and other related documentation..
- Coordinate with maintenance staff or vendors for timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants to enhance customer service experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of RTB regulations.
- Proficient in property management software.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships with tenants.
- Effective communication skills including phone etiquette for professional interactions.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
- A proactive approach to facilities management and property maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid BC Property Management License.
- Valid BC Driver's License
