Junior Estimator / Project Coordinator

Salary: $25.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Our well-established and progressive plumbing company is looking to add a Junior Estimator / Project Coordinator to our growing team.

The ideal candidate has on-site construction and/or estimating experience and is now looking to transition into an office-based role. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, are comfortable with technology, and have a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.

You will have the ability to understand and interpret plumbing system layouts, functionality, design intent, and system logic. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, MS Lists, and Teams) and Bluebeam is required.

We are seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, methodical, proactive, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment. Experience within the plumbing industry is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Reading and reviewing blueprints for new estimates, MSI's, and change orders
- Performing material take-offs
- Data entry into estimating software
- Communicating professionally with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Maintaining spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation
- Assisting with project coordination and administrative tasks
- Supporting general office operations as required

Qualifications

- On-site construction, trade, or estimating experience




- 2–5 years of office experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Bluebeam; AutoCAD experience is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Team-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Plumbing industry experience is an asset

Schedule

- Full-time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8-hour shift

Location

Our office is located near the Golden Ears Bridge and is closed to the public, providing a focused work environment with no walk-in traffic.
