We are actively recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a private female employer who had a Stroke in all activities of daily living.

The employer is easy going with a kind and sunny disposition.

Start Date: Immediately

Location:

- Coquitlam (Near Lougheed Center)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays
- 9:00am to 1:00pm
- 3 nights a week (Flexible days) OR 4 days a week at 2 hours per day
- 5:30pm to 8:30pm (Times flexible, 6:00pm to 9:00pm is fine as well)

Compensation:

- $26.00 per hour for probationary period
- $27.00 per hour after probationary period

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Assist with getting dressed and peri care
- Assisted feeding through a feeding tube
- Meal preparation
- Companionship and walks

Night shift responsibilities:

- Dinner preparation and assisted feeding
- Bed routine, such as assisting with toileting

Required Qualifications:

- Some caregiving experience preferred
- Comfortable with occasionally working in an environment with a 100lb dog, The dog does not live there (dog sitting) and is very friendly.
- Fully Vaccinated
- Ability to speak Tagalog and English preferred
