Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our team in a rapid-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a strong focus on food safety and sanitation while delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food handling, ensuring proper storage and preparation techniques are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Follow food safety protocols to maintain a safe dining environment.

Skills





- Comfortable working in hot and cold conditions – it’s a walk-up window, so you’ll feel the heat during summer and the cold even inside on winter!
- able to work on WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Experience with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
