Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Assist with packaging and handling of seed products, including bagging and tote filling.
- Operate and monitor conveyor belt systems to ensure efficient material flow.
- Fill tote bags with seed while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Secure tote bags by properly tying and sealing them.
- Apply banding to packaged products for secure transportation and storage.
- Support loading operations by assisting with the safe and efficient loading of trucks.
- Assist in the seed treatment process, following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
- Operate a pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe working environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Class 5 Driver's License required; Class 3 or Class 1 considered an asset
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Basic understanding of seed handling, packaging, and treatment process
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (over 50lbs) on a regular basis
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
