Job Responsibility:

Howell Electric is currently hiring a warehouse inventory worker to perform activities related to shipping, receiving, and distribution of materials within a high-volume warehouse. This includes order verification, accepting deliveries, counting inventory, organizing inventory, managing back orders, and tracking data for large scale projects.

Wage Range: $23-26/hour based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm

Job Requirements:

- Physically demanding - lifting material (up to 70 lbs.)

Responsibilities/Duties:

- Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods. Load truck accurately and safely for jobsite deliveries.




- Drive company vehicle to make deliveries and stock pick-ups. Full PPE required on jobsites. Maintain appropriate licensing credentials & acceptable driving record. Must obey traffic laws & company safety procedures.
- Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required. Schedule routine maintenance or repairs as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
- Unpack, organize, and route goods to appropriate storage areas or departments.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse, tool room, supply room, or other areas.
- Process incoming requisitions and distribute parts and supplies for internal usage.
- Maintain records of parts and supplies on hand.
- Take charge of re-organization of warehouse and show initiative to create new and improved systems.
- Pull material to send out to job sites.
- Manage material incoming from sites and redistribute accordingly.
- Track backorders with wholesalers and update job sites with expected arrival dates for material. Manage discrepancies.
- Check-in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear aisles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
- Assist in maintaining the appearance of the warehouse as needed. Clean warehouse, counters, yard, etc.
- Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know the location of merchandise in the warehouse.
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
