Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver flooring materials to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload flooring products using equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper placement and secure transport.
- Verify delivery orders against shipment documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Assist with warehouse duties including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety standards are met.
- Follow all safety protocols during loading, transit, and unloading processes to prevent accidents or damage.
Skills
- Proven experience in moving heavy or bulky items safely and efficiently.
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklift equipment is highly desirable.
