About the Role
Banyan Gold Corp. is seeking a Community Relations Manager to support respectful
engagement and solid working relationships between Banyan and the First Nation of Na-
cho Nyäk Dun (FNNND). Banyan is actively exploring its AurMac project located 40km north
of Mayo.
This is a leadership role focused on building trust, supporting open communication, and
ensuring Banyan’s exploration and project development activities align with the FNNND
Mining Policy.
What You Will Do
Serve as Banyan’s primary relationship lead with FNNND leadership, citizens, Elders,
and youth
Organize and coordinate community meetings, information sessions, and site visits
Ensure community concerns and questions are addressed in a respectful and timely
manner
Track and support implementation of Project commitments following the FNNND
Mining Policy
Support employment, training, and contracting opportunities for FNNND citizens
Coordinate cultural awareness training for Banyan staff and contractors
Prepare community updates, newsletters, and engagement materials
Work closely with Environmental, Project Development, and Executive teams to ensure
alignment between project activities and community expectations
Who We Are Looking For
Citizen of the First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun
Strong understanding of FNNND governance,
community priorities, and cultural values
Experience in community engagement, communications, Indigenous relations, or
related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and respect
Strong organizational skills and ability to track commitments and follow up on actions
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

Work Environment and Compensation
This is a full-time position based in Mayo, Yukon. Compensation will be competitive and
reflective of experience and qualifications. Banyan is committed to supporting FNNND
participation in leadership roles.
