Someone who recognizes that many individuals are not simply “out of shape” or “not trying hard enough”—they may be living with pain, fear, injury, chronic illness, inflammation, fatigue, or a loss of confidence in what their body is capable of doing.

Who We Are

A Remarkable Me Therapeutic Centre was founded on a simple belief:

People heal best when they feel safe, supported, understood, and empowered.

For more than sixteen years, our founder has worked alongside individuals navigating pain, injury, stress, inflammation, chronic health concerns, and the many challenges that affect the human body.

Over time, one truth has become increasingly clear:

The human body cannot be separated into individual parts.

The muscles, joints, fascia, nervous system, lymphatic system, emotional health, movement patterns, lifestyle, and experiences of each person all influence one another.

When one system is affected, the entire person is affected.

This is why we believe healthcare must move beyond isolated treatment.

It must become team-oriented.

It must see the whole person.

Our Vision

A Remarkable Me Therapeutic Centre is becoming an Integrative Health Collaborative serving Southampton and the Grey Bruce community.

Our vision is to bring together practitioners who believe in working together to support each individual’s unique health journey.

Our team will include professionals such as Registered Massage Therapists, Registered Psychotherapists, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners, Registered Kinesiologists, and other healthcare providers who share a commitment to compassionate, client-centred care.

We believe that no single profession has every answer.

The best outcomes often happen when professionals communicate, respect one another’s expertise, and work together with the client at the centre.

The Registered Kinesiologist We Are Looking For

Areas of Interest May Include

We welcome a Registered Kinesiologist with experience or interest in supporting clients with:

- Chronic pain
- Injury recovery
- Functional movement limitations
- Strength and mobility goals
- Healthy aging
- Balance and fall prevention
- Arthritis and joint concerns
- Chronic disease management
- Cancer recovery and rehabilitation support
- Inflammation-related conditions
- Lymphedema and lipedema support through appropriate movement strategies and collaborative care
- Improving overall quality of life through safe, progressive movement

We recognize that each client arrives with a different history, different challenges, and different goals. Your role is to meet them where they are and help them move forward.

What You Will Do

- Complete functional movement assessments.
- Develop individualized exercise and movement programs based on client goals.
- Educate clients about the importance of movement and its role in health.
- Support clients in building confidence and trust in their bodies.
- Collaborate with other practitioners when appropriate to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate professionally and contribute your knowledge to an interdisciplinary team.
- Continue developing your clinical skills through learning and collaboration.
