Title: Licensed Practical Nurse, Acute/Medical/Surgical

Location: British Columbia sites including: Kamloops, Vernon, Penticton, Trail

Type: Travel Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

Pay Range: $42-52/hour, T4 or incorporated options

What You'll Do

As an Acute/Medical Surgical LPN, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, you will:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely
- Provide post-operative and acute medical care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications,



discharge planning, and health management
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
- Promote patient safety while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care and/or Medical Surgical LPN experience
- Experience working in a busy acute care hospital setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
