Part-Time Housekeeper – Days Inn Chetwynd can lead to full time in near future

Days Inn Chetwynd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain the high cleanliness standards our guests expect.

Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare guest rooms to brand and hotel cleanliness standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Restock room supplies including towels, toiletries, and linens
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management promptly
- Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobby, and laundry facilities
- Follow all health, safety, and WHMIS guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals
- Maintain confidentiality and respect guest and staff privacy at all times
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required — full training provided
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills




- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Availability

This is a part-time position with morning shifts only. Shifts are scheduled across all 7 days of the week (Monday–Sunday), including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis. Shift times and days will vary depending on hotel needs and occupancy, and will be communicated in advance via the schedule.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.25–$20.00/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Morning shifts — rotating availability required across all days of the week (Monday to Sunday)
