Elite Health Homes is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers/Companions to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. Your presence will help foster independence, reduce isolation, and improve overall quality of life for our clients.

We are seeking a compassionate individual to provide care in the Millcreek Area.

Availability:

OVERNIGHT Weekdays and Weekends

8:45 PM to 8:45 AM

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Provide medication reminders and encourage adherence to care plans.
- Engage clients through conversation, recreational activities, and social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a protected environment.
- Document daily care activities and communicate changes in client health or behavior.




- Offer specialized support for clients with dementia or other cognitive conditions as needed.

Qualifications

- Experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields (home care, assisted living, etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with supporting individuals with disabilities and memory impairments is an asset.
- Ability to prepare meals and accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Comfortable with light to moderate lifting based on client needs.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a caring attitude.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is required.
- Must pass a background check.
